A lovely retreat in a perfect setting. Skiing at Les Angles is great. Mirepoix market well worth the journey and Carcassonne is gorgeous.

Told you we’d be back. Its so good we bought No 20. I think we know just about everyone in the village. Weather great. Bit of cycling, walking, visiting! Caves at Abrespirie spectacular, as was Fort de Salses. PS House was spotless.

Fantastic two weeks – House has everything we needed, neighbours are wonderful friendly people. The whole area is beautiful. Any of the chateaus are worth a visit, as is the spectacular Gorge de Galamus. Kids beach at Canet is fabulous. Great wildlife too. Soak the place up, its amazing.

Thank you for a memorable time here in Puilaurens. The cottage is wonderful, in a beautiful setting, with views to match. A superb place to stay to enable one to see the area.

Wonderful scenery, brilliant white water for our kayaks. 2 weeks continuous sunshine, walks from the door. House is in a lovely village.

What a bijou house in a lovely tranquil setting. Recommend a visit to Perpignan antiques market on a Sunday, and Ceret on a Saturday morning where there is an excellent market – C’est un bon village.

Carl Antonia and Oliver - Smashing location, beautiful mountains especially with the dusting of snow we've had. Skiing was good at mijanes albeit small. Formigueres a bigger ski resort - more atmosphere - both very sunny @ top. Vilefranche definitely worth a visit, especially the trek up to the chateau. Many thanks a great time.

John And Helen Cotting - Had a lovely time here, enjoyed watching the local people debate at great length the drainage in the bottom field for the fete in August - sorry we'll be missing it! Been white water rafting, not for the faint hearted and on petit train jaune from villefranche. Chateau at peyrepertuse is spectacular. Cerets also worth a visit for the modern art museum.
